Junior Accounts Payable Officer

About the role As a Junior Accounts Payable team member, you’ll play an important role in supporting the Finance team and keeping our accounts payable processes running smoothly. You’ll help ensure invoices, payments, and related financial transactions are processed accurately and on time, while building your knowledge and skills across a range of accounts payable and finance activities. Key responsibilities Manage and maintain vehicle registration records across Australia Monitor vehicle registration schedules and ensure registrations are processed, paid and subsequently updated in internal systems within required timeframes Support the onboarding of new vehicles, including processing registration-related payments and updating relevant systems Monitor and manage the Accounts Payable inbox, ensuring invoices and queries are actioned or appropriately referred Process Fleet-related invoices, including invoices relating to vehicle purchasing, servicing, repairs and maintenance Obtain and monitor required invoice approvals prior to payment Maintain accurate electronic records and supporting documentation for invoices, payments and related transactions About you Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Finance administration, data entry or a similar administrative role is preferred Experience working with invoices, payments, financial records or administrative processes is advantageous Strong business communication, both written and verbal Developed time management and organisation skills Competency in MS Office, familiarity with MYOB/Dynamics and ability to learn new systems Strong attention to detail and accuracy What we offer Competitive salary package Hybrid working arrangements to support work-life balance A collaborative and supportive team culture Employee and “family & friends” car rental discounts across Australia Access to hundreds of discounts and offers on travel and accommodation, health insurance, gym memberships, home loans, movie tickets and much more Various avenues of assistance are available to help you achieve your career goals via external training programs and professional development courses
